East City Super Weekend of Art Openings and Events
There is something for everyone this weekend from a happy hour, drawing classes, two Saturday openings and a Sunday fund raiser opening.    It's a great weekend to go East.

Start off the weekend the right way with a happy hour at Honfleur Gallery.   The libations begin at 6:30 to celebrate the opening of "Objectified" a group show exploring the domestication of the industrial.

Saturday morning, break out your charcoal, your paints or pencils and head over to CHAW for their open drawing session where you'll work from a model. It's a fun and lively group and a great way to get your day started.

After your disco nap, head over to the Evolve Urban Arts Project for the opening of their new show "Nature Transforms" a group show exploring the power nature has over the urban landscape. The show opens at 4pm and closes at 8pm.

Next, head over to City Gallery for the opening of their new show "Out at Night" by noted Hill photographer Gayle Krughoff.  The show opens at 6pm and ends at 9pm.

Finally, sleep in on Saturday and stroll over to the Corner Store after brunch for their Fourth Annual Fused Glass Show whose proceeds will directly benefit refugees from the Democratic Republic of Congo.
