| ART OPENINGS |Opening Show: Saturday June 26 from 6PM to 8PM
Each month the DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities (DCCAH) hosts Art Salon, a monthly convergence of the creative community in the District. This month, join DCCAH for June's Art Salon, 32 under 32 on Saturday, June 26, from 5-8pm This evening gives rise to the 32 recipients of our 2010 Young Artist Grant Program.
This event is a collaborative evening between Conner Contemporary Art and Industry Gallery both located at 1358 Florida Avenue, NE.
Join Alex Clarke, Christylez Bacon, Tommy Bobo. Liz DeRoche, Mark Perkins, Jes Therkelson, Graciela Lopez, Sia Tiambi Barnes, Lisa Marie Thalhammer, Mary Coble and many others in celebrating these emerging young artists in DC's thriving artistic community. A special workshop will also take place before the event at G Fine Art (1350 Florida Avenue, NE) for interested grant applicants to meet and greet Catherine Cleary, DCCAH's Director of Grants and Legislative Affairs, and Washington Area Lawyers for the Arts.
